BE WATCHFUL; GIVE NO ROOM TO THE DEVIL.

Ephesians.4.27 Leave no [such] room or foothold for the devil [give no opportunity to him]. (AMP)

The life in the wild is such a beautiful thing that looking at it can give a great picture of what human life is in relation to the spiritual world.

In the wild, predators often seize the opportunity availed by the weakness, unawareness, sickness or injury from fights of their prey. Steady, ready and aware prey is seldom attacked.

Now you understand why in 1Peter.5.8 the Bible says Be careful! Watch out for attacks from the Devil, your great enemy. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for some victim to devour.

The devil looks for opportunity. Those often ignored potholes among the believers give a great deal of advantage to the devil.

And right in our theme scripture, the Bible says Leave no such room or foothold for the devil [give no opportunity to him]. The pretext to this verse speaks of managing falsehood and anger.

Are there no greater and visible points of failure by people in the church? We see them daily. But falsehood and anger are often ignored, and we think it's about personality. To the devil, it is opportunity.

Ephesians.4.26 "In your anger do not sin": Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, (NIV)

In other words, find a way of making peace as soon as possible whenever your heart becomes heavy. The longer peace and love are kept our of the equation, the more opportunity the devil seizes. So, be careful!

Hallelujah!
