Many times when we talk about the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ, most people think about the afterlife. But God would not place you to distress on earth and then give you glory in the after life.
The Bible says the path of the just is as the shining light, that shines more and more unto the perfect day. [Proverbs.4.18].
The afterlife glory is only perfect and greater than that on earth. Glory starts straight away from the moment you believed in Jesus Christ as your savior.
From the beginning God chose you to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth to the end that you share in His glory. This was important because no one shares in the Glory of God without being sanctified.
Don't live a condemned life, suffering and not recognizing that you were called to share in the Glory of our Lord. Jesus Christ lived in glory even before He died. And when He prayed, observe what God the father said in John.12.28-29;
"Father, glorify your name!" He prayed.Then a voice came from heaven, "I have glorified it, and will glorify it again." The crowd that was there and heard it said it had thundered; others said an angel had spoken to him.
Even then, Jesus said the voice came for the sake of man not Him.
Every thing about you should radiate the glory of God. In every miracle that Jesus Christ performed, the name of God was glorified. That's your life child of God. It should be seen as a miracle by people that in it they see God's glory.
The life of a Christian should not be one that people look at and don't even admire to have because of how embarrassing it looks.
You are saved for glory in Jesus Christ now and forever. Amen.
