In the world where power is more valuable than gold, it take only authority for those without the power to stand.
And in moments of loss, times when the cover you had is gone, loss of a parent, spouse or even property, many people breakdown and see no hope for them in the chaotic world.
It is then that oppressors and exploiters take advantage of them. But here is what all people should know;
There is a higher authority that even those without power can stand on–God.
God is the father to the fatherless, a defender of widows.
This conversation reminds us as children of God that we should not lean on the things the Bible calls vanity. Not even man because man is but breath.
When everything is lost and we can not hold on to anything anymore, God remains as an anchor.
Are you bleeding from the wounds left behind by loss and are worried of what it will be without, turn to God who is a father and a defender. He is the only authority that remains with you forever.
