OUR IDENTITY. OUR PARTNERSHIPS.

2Corinthians.6.17 "Therefore come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you." (NIV)

'The just live by faith' says the Bible. Holy even as God the father is holy. Separation from the faithless --unbeliever is not a matter to be discussed with God. It is a mandate.

Echoing throughout the days of humanity is the word of God calling man to separate Himself from the heathen and stay out of their pollution. To which man is this word? To every man who knows Christ as their savior.

The word 'unbeliever' is used for two words: apeithoúntes meaning "disobeying (ones)" and ápistos meaning "faithless," "without faith."

In the themes scripture, God is calling us to walk out of the latter but this does not rule out the truth that the former too should be avoided.

There should be a distinction between a believer and an unbeliever. How terrible and shaming is it for a believer to be found in the acts of unbelief or merging their goals with those of an unbeliever?

Wisdom however, should be applied to get the difference between a person who has not know or heard the truth from the one who has deliberately refused to believe or one who has know the truth but just turns against it.

Because we are supposed to help those who have not known the truth into it but walk away from those who stand against it.

God wants us all for Himself, but the partnership we make sometimes compromise with our identify.

Hallelujah!
