Jeremiah.31.30 But everyone shall die for his own iniquity [only]; every man who eats sour grapes - his [own] teeth shall be set on edge. (AMP)
The new testament which is a dispensation of Grace gives a chance for everyone to be saved.[Rom 10.13, Eph 2.8].
But painfully there are people who have chosen to bear their own weight and as Isaiah saw spiritually, they chose to die for their own sin.
God does not will that any man should perish in his sin. He has opened His arms wide for all who want to be saved.
Those who are perishing are they who have refused to love the truth and so be saved. They have been carried away by the delusion and now believe a lie.
And it's not because they don't have access to the truth or that it's veiled. It's just because they are blind to it.
2Cor.4.3 -4 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
Yes, dying in your sin is a choice. The state of your life is a result of your own choices not a result of your family background or level of education as we may think.
I have seen educated people live lives worse than the uneducated and children from good family backgrounds wasted in the streets by drugs and the like.
But we have also seen people the world had sentenced to destruction and wastage rising like stars.
Because every man who eats sour grapes - his own teeth shall be set on edge. That is not the will of God but a result of your own rebellion and resistance to His free gift in Christ Jesus.
Hallelujah!
