Imagine how much wisdom we suppose is in the world, the wisdoms that men have discovered in millions of years spending all their lives seeking it out. For instance, discovery of the ability to travel in air by plane. Men spent the whole of their lives studying how to.
Up-to-date, men don't feel their travel in air satisfying and want to go deeper into that wisdom. Yet with God, that is like ABC. It's no wisdom at all.
The Bible says, Human wisdom is so tinny, so impotent, next to the seeming absurdity of God. Human strength can't begin to compete with God's "weakness." (1Cor.1.25 MSB)
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God's sight. As it is written: "He catches the wise in their craftiness"; (1Cor.3.19 NIV)
God has not called us to the wisdom of this world. There is greater wisdom that He has put in every believer's heart and calls the non believer to receive it too.
The wisdom of this world is precious to the world and they seek it out like treasures.
However, we possess this precious treasure [the divine Light of the Gospel] in [frail, human] vessels of earth, that the grandeur and exceeding greatness of the power may be shown to be from God and not from ourselves.(2Cor.4.7)
We possess Jesus Christ In whom all the treasures of divine wisdom (comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God) and all the riches of spiritual knowledge and enlightenment are stored up and lie hidden.
You see, true wisdom is note as plain as you the believer can see it. You are able to see it because you entered Christ. That wisdom is hidden in Him.
Allow me tell you as well that what you have seen is not all there is to see. I would compare discovering the wisdom in Christ with the mining industry that from the days of old has failed to exhausted the minerals lying beneath.
All the riches of Spiritual knowledge and enlightenment are in Jesus Christ not anywhere else. It pleased God that in Him should the whole deity dwell.
Colossians.2.9-10 For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority.
You don't need to go to heaven to receive divine wisdom. It's right in the inside of you. All you need is your spiritual eye to be opened. Ask God to flood the eyes of your understanding with light.
