THE NAME AND THE WORD ARE ONE

In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. (John.1.1 AMP)

To-date, the question of "by what authority" remains a major issue that is generally causing many to question the gospel spoken by christians.

And the problem is not only that they don't understand the gospel but also because christians are being masked by the devil and tricked to try to separate the word of God from God Himself.

Right from the foundation Satan has been trying to part the two. Without the Authority of the Name, the word is powerless. To believe Jesus, they needed to know by what authority He spoke.

Mark.11.28 "By what authority are you doing these things?" they asked. "And who gave you authority to do this?"

After the ascension, the disciples were warned not to teach in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Acts.4.18 Then they called them in again and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus. (NIV)

This is not something that we should take for granted. To speak with Authority and see the word take effect on men, we should understand that the Name of Jesus Christ and His word can not be separated.

If we get lured into accepting to speak the word without attaching Jesus Christ, then we become motivation speakers not messengers of the gospel.

Today, it is getting difficult to separate a preaching from an inspirational text, because people are rushing to quote the statement without attaching or having a relationship with the authority.

The Present situation is like, "Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?"

A time has come where you caution somebody and the snap by asking "says who?" This is because the foundations from which they came did not teach them to separate the word of God from motivation and inspiration messages.

In separation the Name from the word, the devil is draining the fear of God from the hearts of men. How would someone get out of a sermon, then goes out to do the opposite? Something must be wrong.

The church should start having the conversation on understanding the Authority behind the gospel namely, Jesus Christ.

Listen to what Jesus commanded us in Matthew.28.19;

"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,"(NKJV)

If from the beginning the word was with God and the word was God, we can never expect the word to be effective without having the relationship with the Name of Jesus Christ.

Hallelujah!
