When Jesus looked up and saw a great crowd coming toward him, he said to Philip, "Where shall we buy bread for these people to eat?" He asked this only to test him, for he already had in mind what he was going to do. (John.6.5-6 NIV)
It is not the first time God is testing the heart of a man concerning possibility. He asked Ezekiel if the dry bones would come to life.
God does this to check our trust, faith, love and obedience to Him. It is a test of our acknowledgment of His sovereignty.
God has never asked us to admit possibility for things that men have answers to. He is a God of wonders and everything He does marvels men.
You might have been asked by God maybe in a dream, visions or your conscience for possibility where with man it is impossible. Here is what to know: before He asks you, He has the answer.
Ezekiel admitted that only God knew and he was given the answer; Philip declared that nothing in their possession would quench the demand.
Don't try to look around for possibility among the sons of men; never seek for solution from the world before answering God. Look back to Him because He has all the possibilities.
Always remember that when God asks, He is about to do something no eye has seen, no ear has heard neither has it entered the heart of any man.
When you trust, have faith and obey God, you become a wonder among men generation after generation.
Hallelujah!
