GOD WILL PROVE HIMSELF

At the time of sacrifice, the prophet Elijah stepped forward and prayed: "O LORD, God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, let it be known today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant and have done all these things at your command. ....Then the fire of the LORD fell and burned up the sacrifice, the wood, the stones and the soil, and also licked up the water in the trench. (1Kings.18.36 - 38 NIV)

Whenever there is a question of doubt about the existence and power of God among men, God has never kept silent and overlooked it.

It might not be in the similar way that He proved Himself God among the Egyptians, the prophets of Baal or the Philistines, but He always proves Himself God.

The God that we serve is not one who sends and stays back waiting for the results. He is a God who goes with you. Works with you, protects you and guides you. He is always present at any time and anywhere.

People are laden with many things which seek to take the place of God: money, pleasure, wealth, and many other things. But none of them has ever satisfied their hunger. Most often, moments come when all these can not save their lives, and never will they.

Moments when money can not speak, times when luxuries can not suffice. There, God remains God as He has always been.

Child of God, you might be faced with something or situation that nothing in your power can handle. Not even the connections you have. But I remind you that God is always there and will prove Himself strong on your behalf.

For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him... (2Chronicles.16.9 KJV)

Don't accept to be convinced that you serve a God who delights in your downfall. Don't bend to the support of the world but to God.

Hebrews.13.5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." (NIV)

Hallelujah!
