DON'T TRY GOD'S PATIENCE

We should not tempt the Lord [try His patience, become a trial to Him, critically appraise Him, and exploit His goodness] as some of them did - and were killed by poisonous serpents; (1Corinthians.10.9 AMP)

The Lord our God is a patient and loving God. Slow to anger and His mercy endures forever.

But what happens when, after knowing and testing of His love we willingly do what is not right before him. What happens when we take His goodness for granted and trample His grace underfoot? We put the Lord at test; we try His patience and exploit His goodness.

James.4.17 Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn't do it, sins.

The enduring love of God does not come to punish you like He did with the Israelites in the wilderness. However, He lets you walk by your will. Yet He continues to watch you, waiting for

But remember continuous rebellion leads to a seared conscience which no longer recognizes God.

The suffering of a man depends on the degree of rebellion and misalignment to the will of God. God Himself at that point has not judged such a man but still calls Him to repentance. This is what His mercy and grace does.

Child of God, do not be found in the category which willingly goes against the will and purposes of God claiming that there is sure forgiveness. God is willing to always accept you. But you are giving your spirit a hard bark and calcifying your heart.

A time will come when you will no longer feel like going to repent.

Don't put the Lord's patience on trial. He is a God of principle and pattern and has put His word above Himself

Hallelujah!
