"Wait! Don't hurt the land or the sea or the trees until we have placed the seal of God on the foreheads of his servants." (Revelation.7.3 NLT)
Looking at the rebellion and corruption in the world today, the immorality and wickedness that has covered the face of the earth, it is worse more than Sodom and Gomorrah. If anyone would judge, it is worth destroying.
Yet God looks down and says, "I will not yet destroy." In the midst of the chaos, God is doing something. He is perfecting the remnant.
In the revelation of Christ, John sees the Angels who had been sent to destroy the earth, and another comes to stop them saying "Wait! Don't hurt the land or the sea or the trees until we have placed the seal of God on the foreheads of his servants."
God's servants are so precious to Him that even other creation rejoices because of their presence. The land and all in it is not destroyed because of your presence on earth.
God said you are a chosen generation, a peculiar people. If you are in Christ, God destined you for His kingdom. And all creation is alive for your sake.
Many people who don't understand this truth think God is delaying therefore all people will become corrupted. So, they make prayers such as; God come soon and take us home, Lord don't delay....
The Bible in 2Peter.3.9 says; The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. (NIV)
Yes, destruction of the world is delayed for the sake of those who are destined for redemption in Christ Jesus and the perfection of the saints.
Hallelujah!
