He is in charge of it all, has the final word on everything. At the center of all this, Christ rules the church. (Ephesians.1.22 MSB)
While Christ has handed to us the ministry of reconciliation and entrusted His sheep to the shepherds in the church, He remains the head and the master shepherd.
Our theme scripture is clear, God put all things under the feet of Christ and made Him head over everything. He is the center of the Church and has the final say on everything.
While the truth remains, many people are trying to move and tune the church in the direction they want. Calling it the modern way of worship. Fashioning the church to fit the trend of the world. For some to satisfy their cravings and others to justify their actions.
Before we impose shifting trends on the church, what is the mind of Christ concerning His body? While some claim to be having the mind of Christ, they have not understood His feelings and purposes.
1Corinthians.2.16 For who has known or understood the mind (the counsels and purposes) of the Lord so as to guide and instruct Him and give Him knowledge? But we have the mind of Christ (the Messiah) and do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of His heart. (AMP)
Today some people do things without feeling. They have a sole purpose: to work to their own benefits. Not for the perfection of the church.
There is a call to return to the alter and seek the instruction of Christ concerning His church. A moment to go to the father and ask for guidance on where to take His sheep while He tarries.
Even sermons on the alters should be out of the inspiration of the Spirit of God not according to the trend of the world.
From counseling, preaching, teaching, pastoring, worshipping, to anything that is done in the church, seek the mind of Christ before carrying it out. Let the mind of Christ be overall. He is the head of all.
