And God saw that the light was good (suitable, pleasant) and He approved it; and God separated the light from the darkness. (Genesis.1.4 AMP)
From the beginning, light and darkness have never been destined to mix at any point. When God called light, He saw that it was good. He found it pleasant in His sight and therefore approved it.
Most importantly, He separated light from darkness. Doesn't this click something in your mind?
From the ignorance of the world, from a generation doomed for destruction, God called out a people into His light. This light He put in their hearts.
2Corinthians.4.6 For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. (NIV)
The purpose of the light is to give knowledge and mark these people as children of God.
1Thesslonians.5.5 You are all sons of the light and sons of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. (NIV)
Each and everytime, so long as we stay in this world, darkness will always try to overshadow the light. How?
The devil is packaging evil, works of darkness in a certain form of light causing many to call evil good. But then, darkness can never overcome light.
When God says arise and shine, He means dive deeper into the knowledge of Him. A time has come when God is defining a clear cut difference between light and darkness in this generation which is failing to get the difference.
Let's have a long read here;
Malachi.3.14 -17 "You have said, 'It is futile to serve God. What did we gain by carrying out his requirements and going about like mourners before the LORD Almighty? But now we call the arrogant blessed. Certainly the evildoers prosper, and even those who challenge God escape.'" Then those who feared the LORD talked with each other, and the LORD listened and heard. A scroll of remembrance was written in his presence concerning those who feared the LORD and honored his name. "They will be mine," says the LORD Almighty, "in the day when I make up my treasured possession. I will spare them, just as in compassion a man spares his son who serves him. And you will again see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not.
Child of God, whatever you have been doing in the light and for the light was registered and remembered by God.
A time has come for God to prove the worth of serving Him.
Hallelujah!
