THE QUEST FOR REVELATION

Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD: (Psalm.118.19 KJV)

We use tickets as permission to enter places not open to all people. For surely only God holds the keys to the revelation of His person. Like many people decide what is shown to the public concerning them, God opens His gates to whoever He decides to.

The way of righteousness is not as plain to all people as it may seem. There are people who have stayed long in the gospel yet have not found this way.

The prayer of the Psalmist to God tells us that only God can open the eyes and heart of a man to enter the gates of righteousness.

A question arose from the disciples concerning Jesus' use of parables in Matthew.13.10 -11; "The disciples came to him and asked, "Why do you speak to the people in parables?" He replied, "The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them."

Access to devine realities –revelation, can only be given by God. No man can manipulate His way into the understanding of it.

A prayer for God to open His gate to you in a call for the abundance of the Spirit for the Spirit knows all things.

1Corinthians.2.9 -10 However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him"--but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit.

Revelation is available, but is also possible for God to open His gates for someone yet the person does not enter. "Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them." God can avail His spirit but you fail to build a relationship with Him. In this way you can fail to access the spiritual realities in God.

Hallelujah!
