THE MIND OF GOD CONCERNING YOUR LIGHT.

He says, "But that's not a big enough job for my servant--just to recover the tribes of Jacob, merely to round up the strays of Israel. I'm setting you up as a light for the nations so that my salvation becomes global!" (Isaiah.49.6 MSB)

By helping a couple of people and guiding a handful of individuals into the truth and salvation of God, do you now feel you have done already enough for God? I acknowledge you have done pretty good work. But what is the mind of God concerning our service?

In our theme scripture, God is saying, "But that's not a big enough job for my servant." Helping just a few people who are within your reach and proximity is not enough. When Jesus spoke to His disciples at the last moment before ascension, He made mention of the great duty;

Acts.1.8 But when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, you will receive power and will tell people about me everywhere--in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." (NLT)

The mind of God concerning your service and influence is that you should never be limited nor feel that you have done enough.

For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth. (Acts.13.47)

God does not want your light to burn just within. He wants to set you up as a light for the nations so that His salvation becomes global!"

If this is the view of God concerning your expansion, what is your dream like? Is it limited to your proximity or it is global?

Listen to the words of God: "Clear lots of ground for your tents! Make your tents large. Spread out! Think big! Use plenty of rope, drive the tent pegs deep. You're going to need lots of elbow room for your growing family. You're going to take over whole nations; you're going to resettle abandoned cities. (Isa.54.2 MSB)

There is somebody who is already comfortable with how much they have done for the Kingdom and feel that's enough.

Paul the apostle will tell you that let's not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don't give up, or quit. [Gal.6.9].

It not for us to decide when to retire from God's work. Let God decide on His own. Paul worked until He noticed that he was being poured out like drink.

2Tim.4.6 For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time has come for my departure. (NIV)

God wants us to shine beyond our own perimeters. If men of God, business people and anyone else understood that God is ready to give us nations as an inheritance, the fights for the limited resources, members and customers we are able to see would cease.

The reason He gives us the anointing without measure is to shine without borders.

Hallelujah!
