Notice the way God does things; then fall into line. Don't fight the ways of God, for who can straighten out what he has made crooked? (Ecclesiastes.7.13 NLT)
In the creation moment, man was the last creature of God. In creating the other things first, He was setting standards for man. Sometimes I ponder on why Man came last. And I come to a conclusion that God did not require to ask the mind of man in creating what he is to tend.
And so even scripture say, "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways," says the LORD. (Isaiah.55.8 NKJV). In other words what man thinks should be done is not what God thinks, and how man does his things is not how God works.
For who has known or understood the mind (the counsels and purposes) of the Lord so as to guide and instruct Him and give Him knowledge? But we have the mind of Christ (the Messiah) and do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of His heart. (1Cor.2.16 AMP)
Many people boast with this scripture yet they have not known the mind of Christ. You say you have it, but do you know it? It's one thing to have and another to have and know what you have.
And today God is saying "Consider, Notice the I do things; then fall into line." Christ, whose mind we have, taught us something fundamental;
John.8.28 So Jesus said, "When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am the one I claim to be and that I do nothing on my own but speak just what the Father has taught me.
Again in John.15.15, Jesus said, "I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you."
For even Christ was taught the way by the father. Anybody who tries to do what they think is right without the counsel and purposes of God fights the ways of God.
And this is true for people who are eager to catch the gift and calling and run with it without waiting for the assignment. The assignment is the mind of God. The concrete purpose of the Gift and calling.
A man with a gift yet without assignment can use what is for a blessing for a curse because they don't know the purpose.
Accept to sit down and be taught by God. For who can entrust you with their business without teaching you their ways of doing it, even if you have a degree on your head?
Jesus needed to grow and so do you.
Luke.2.52 And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men. (NIV)
The Greek word used for wisdom here is 'Sophia' which means broad and full intelligence, and insight that grasps reality as God sees it, from worldly to spiritual.
See things from the perspective of God, then fall into line.
Hallelujah!
