HELP, DON'T EXCUSE YOURSELF

Rescue the perishing; don't hesitate to step in and help. If you say, "Hey, that's none of my business," will that get you off the hook? Someone is watching you closely, you know--Someone not impressed with weak excuses. (Proverbs.24.11-12 MSB)

Every understanding heart in which Christ dwells is able to point out a soul being led away like a sheep for slaughter. Scripture is telling us to rescue the perishing without hesitating to step in and help.

It's shaming that today the heathen are brave and quick to step in and try to rescue than Christians are. One of our cardinal responsibility as a church is to love.

Now, if you say, "Hey, that's none of my business," will that get you off the hook? Absolutely not. God examines our hearts and knows that we knew their state. God is not impressed with the weak excuses that we present to Him.

Like Moses, there is no way we are going to escape the responsibility. God called us the salt. Salt gives taste, it preserves, it is even used to heal. How can you say it is non of your business? You can't because you will be saying you have lost your saltiness.

It's not about finances only: if you are able to help in finance well and good, if not at least pray for them always. If you are able to speak the word to them do so. Anything that you are able to do to save a soul, do it.

It's not enough to boast about your religion and not act it out.

Real religion, the kind that passes muster before God the Father, is this: Reach out to the homeless and loveless in their plight, and guard against corruption from the godless world. (James.1.27 MSB)

God is watching us close and will surely crown us according to our performance in the work—what we do or what we don't do not what we merely feel.

Hallelujah!
