Deutronomy.31.8 It is the Lord Who goes before you; He will [march] with you; He will not fail you or let you go or forsake you; [let there be no cowardice or flinching, but] fear not, neither become broken [in spirit - depressed, dismayed, and unnerved with alarm]. (AMP)
In our journey, we meet many trials and troubles; David met giants, Moses met the Egyptians, and many others encountered many things. All these things are able to shake and discourage our hearts.
But to they that know their God, this He says to them: l the Lord goes before you; I will march with you; I will not fail you or let you go or forsake you; let there be no cowardice or flinching, but fear not, neither become broken in spirit - depressed, dismayed, and unnerved with alarm.
It's not for us to tremble in times of trouble because we have a sure hope and a present help, who not only watches us, but actively matches with us. He is a God who wants to do it for us, ours is to trust Him and be witnesses.
Let there be no cowardice or flinching, but fear not, neither become broken in spirit. It's not in the multitude of the problem, it is in the strength of your heart.
Proverbs.18.14 The strong spirit of a man sustains him in bodily pain or trouble, but a weak and broken spirit who can raise up or bear? (AMP)
Even God will struggle to help a man who grows weary in the spirit. Better weak in the flesh but let it not enter your spirit.
Hallujah!
