You're a lion's cub, Judah, home fresh from the kill, my son. Look at him, crouched like a lion, king of beasts; who dares mess with him? (Genesis.49.9 MSB)
It's not by mistake that Judah from whom Jesus descends is described as a lion's cub. Though Jesus traces His lineage from Judah, scripture makes it clear that He is the lion of Judah. [Revelation 5.5]. So by arrangement Jesus comes before Judah.
Clearly stated, Christ is King above all, and who dares to mess with Him. To this very Christ we are sons (Born of Him). In other words, we are the Lion's cubs. We are identified in Christ. All that is Christ's is ours and ours, Christ's.
For lack of knowledge of who we are and how much has been handed to us, we die like mere men. We have allowed things to mess with us; what we are supposed to rule over is ruling over us. This should not be so. Sickness should not mess with you. Scripture says the hand of Judah is upon the neck of his enemies and others bow down to him [Genesis 49.8]. Nothing on earth should dare mess with you.
God has given us such a great position on earth that it is inl ignorance that you should bend down to the burden, affliction and failure. Why would you change the arrangement of royalty?
I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth. (Ecclesiastes 10.7 KJV)
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. (1Peter.2.9 NIV)
No wonder the name Judah means "praise". It's also through your courage and strength that our father –the King of kings and Lord of lords should receive His praise. Refuse to be weighed down by anything. Make manifest the power of God in you. Stop crying, look within you.
