Every word of God is tried and purified; He is a shield to those who trust and take refuge in Him. (Proverbs.30.5 AMP)
The word that proceeds from the mouth of God does not require to be given a short like what man can say yet in their heart is a second motive. We don't take chances with God.
The word of God is pure and already tried. The word of God is worthy to be trusted and believed not tried. It's total unbelief to be in a state of trying to test the word of God.
I have seen even Christians say they want to try God. That can't make any sense because by the time you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you were accepting to rely entirely on Him and His word. How come you now want to try the same thing you believed.
When dealing with God, we don't take chances, we just trust and obey. No other way. Can a man stand and ask God whether what He has said is true? If any does so, then such are destined for destruction.
We can neither add nor remove from what God has said. That is why the preacher of the Gospel should be very careful not to try to add his own to God's word to persuade people to believe. Preach in the the very simplicity it has been given.
Do not add to his words, or he will rebuke you and prove you a liar. (Proverbs.30.6 NIV).
Hallelujah!
