KEEP IN REMEMBRANCE ALWAYS

So I will always remind you of these things, even though you know them and are firmly established in the truth you now have. (2Peter.1.12 NIV)

Often times when we learn about something, there is a confidence that comes over us. This confidence makes us to think that having learned something, we are able to keep it in memory forever.

It is important to keep reminding oneself of the things you have learned over and over again. Every time you remind yourself of the things you know, a new level of understanding floods your mind.

We can all bear witness of this that how you understood scripture before is not how you do now. Even then, the next time you read the same scripture, a new dimension of understanding comes.

So the Apostle is saying, even though you are established in the truth that you have know, I have to keep reminding you of the things there in.

For now we are looking in a mirror that gives only a dim (blurred) reflection [of reality as in a riddle or enigma], but then [when perfection comes] we shall see in reality and face to face! Now I know in part (imperfectly), but then I shall know and understand fully and clearly, even in the same manner as I have been fully and clearly known and understood [by God]. (1Cor.13.12 AMP)

God knows us in and out –everything about and of us. But no man has the full understanding of God. For the more you behold Him, the more you become and this is why it is important to draw yourself to a place of remembrance.

Your Glory and ability to exercise truth is multiplied whenever we remind ourselves of truth.

Apollos was counted a learned man, mighty in scripture and instructed in the way of the Lord yet he knew only the baptism of John.

Hold first to the truth you have, reminding yourself always. This is the way to freshen you mind in Christ.

Hallelujah!
