1John.1.5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. (NIV)
~
Pertaining the nature, twice has the scripture in 1John described God, the first being "God is light" and the second "God is love." The first word in the creation moment to proceed from the mouth of God is this: "Let there be light." [Gen.1.3].
Of all the things created, light becomes the first to be established. In the presence of light, all that is invisible is made manifest. If by God light set the starting point of creation, what else outside light can a man do.
When God created man, in His own image He created him. But this statement does not carry the same weight in the hearts of all people. In the desire to reveal to man what truly he is, Jesus Christ makes mention of this: "You are the light of the world.[Matt.5.14].
I might not be able to cause the weight of that statement to be come upon you, but I want to stir your heart soul and mind to awaken to who you are. The Spirit that moved over the sea now lives in the inside of you. Christ dwells in you. In the nature of God you were made. Think about the wonders that the hand of God has made, then think about what you are on earth by God.
May your heart be stirred into the desire to understand what you are on earth, looking through the eye of God. Arise and shine.
And where your light shines, it will expose their evil deeds. This is why it is said, "Awake, O sleeper, rise up from the dead, and Christ will give you light." (Eph.5.14 NLT)
Hallelujah!
