For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide even to the end. (Psalm.48.14 NIV)
I think about the prayers made in the early years of age when one didn't have their own understanding filled with a thousand so called possibilities.
The prayers we made innocently to God asking for His guidance. It is unfortunate that after getting exposed to the world, after studying, having been filled with the wisdom of this world, people rarely ask for guidance from God.
But even if we cease from seeking His guidance, this God is our God for ever and ever; and at that time when we need, He will be our guide even to the end.
Likened to a blind person who contends with the one who's able to see when being guided, is an unbroken heart before God.
Psalm.25.9 He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way. (NIV)
When it comes to direction, nothing else matters like a humbled heart. Your experience is but a risk option to lean on. Worldly wisdom has its limit. But God alone who knows the end from the beginning can give trustworthy guidance.
See, This is what the LORD says- your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: "I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go."(Isaiah 48.17)
No matter how insignificant that thing or choice can be, the decision of God should always be sought. You might not hear a voice speak to you but it is important that you asked Him to guide you prior making the decision.
When it becomes part of you to ask Him, you will be amazed how many right decisions you will make and never suffer regret in your life.
Hallelujah!
