Ezekiel.44.4 Then the man brought me by way of the north gate to the front of the temple. I looked and saw the glory of the LORD filling the temple of the LORD, and I fell facedown. (NIV)
What on earth can ever satisfy? The richest have never stopped working, those with something have never stopped wanting more. The wise have never stopped studying. What on earth can ever satisfy man? Nothing can, I suppose.
But there is a presence, a weight of God's presence that can. That, when it comes upon you, nothing else matters.
When the Glory of God filled temple, the priests could not perform their service [2Chr.5.14].
When Ezekiel saw the glory, he fell facedown. [Ezekiel.44.4]
When Saul who is Paul saw the light which was the glory, he fell. His eyes went dim.
It's not about the falling. It's about what the glory of God really does to you. You realize that each of these people we read in the Bible after they saw that glory heard God speak.
When you see the glory of God, you stop asking and start listening. That is what the glory of God comes to do. He satisfies you to the overflow. He ministers comfort not desire for anything this world can give.
Seeing the glory of God is seeing the full Grace and truth of God. That's is seeing God as you ought.
John.1.14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. (NKJV)
Hallelujah!
