GOD'S HEART IS TOWARDS MAN

But the LORD God called to the man, "Where are you?" (Genesis.3.9 NIV)

As we see, this portion of scripture is picked from the account of the fall of man. After eating what was forbidden, man, on hearing God moving ran into hiding. God knew everything.

But the LORD God called to the man, "Where are you?" God did not hide himself from man as man was now full of iniquity. He instead came to find man.

Every person who has encountered God has where they meet God. But everytime you slide away from the truth and disobey God, you leave the place where you meet God.

While men leave the presence of God, God does not walk away. It is the reason we can always find God if the we know how and where. So why doesn't He walk away?

As a father, God's heart is always towards man. In that while man was still a sinner, an enemy of the truth, weak and ungodly, He came to find man. [Romans 5.8]. Before man starts to look for God, God will have already started to look for Him.

When God said He will never leave you, and gave His son for your sake, it was not just a statement or a sacrifice. It was a covenant of everlasting love. He has never become unfaithful to His word.

God has never left His place. Today He asks the same question in His search for you: "Where are you?" God is in the business of finding you because His heart is set toward you.

Hallelujah!
