No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me," declares the LORD. (Isaiah.54.17 NIV)
The heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their vindication from Him is that they conquer all attacks from the devil and no tongue can rise to judge them.
The question is why and how does the devil outsmart some christians and deceives them into it's way?
Let's start from our theme scripture; it says, "No weapon forged against you will prevail." This is an assurance of victory. But mark these words: forged against you.
Jesus Christ took away all weapons from the devil, what the devil is left with is evil tricks. And here it is clear that the devil designs; fashions; forges these tricks according to the state of the christian.
Many people are reluctant to make themselves better in the knowledge of God and hence give the devil chance because of their ignorance. In the area of your weakness comes the devil's attack.
It can be something as simple as anger, unforgiveness or anything that can easily be ignored that brings destruction. Acknowledging these simple pitfalls in our lives helps us to understand what has or might be fashioned against us.
2Corinthians.2.11 To keep Satan from getting the advantage over us; for we are not ignorant of his wiles and intentions. (AMP)
Where then is our victory?
In Christ who has given us the full armor. The power is in the knowledge of and wisdom to use the armor effectively.
Ephesians.6.11 Put on God 's whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil. (AMP)
Look intentionally into your christian life, what element of the armor are you struggling to use? Then brace yourself.
Hallelujah!
