DWELLING IN HEAVENLY TIMING

Jesus replied, "Now is not the right time for me to go. But you can go anytime, and it will make no difference. (John.7.6 NLT)

Without fainting, I will keep bringing to your remembrance that there is a time and season for every purpose on earth. And that God has appointed the times and seasons.

Also remember that the word TIME as used in the scripture today is 'kairos' which is the timing of the spirit–the due season of God not 'chronos' which is the sequential and measurable time as by the world.

God has given us gifts and callings to use to carry out the assignment(s) He gives us. The gifts He gave us abide with us to the end and can therefore be counted in the light of chronos(measurable time).

The assignment(s) however are appointed the time of the Spirit. In our theme scripture, His brothers were telling Jesus to go and carryout the assignment because it looked right when people are gathered for Him to display who He is.

The danger of dwells in the timing of the world is that it causes you to either run ahead or behind the schedule of heaven; because it looks at the prevailing circumstances.

It is because of this that the Bible says, "Don't shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ--that's where the action is. See things from his perspective." (Colossians.3.2 MSB)

Examine yourself to know if you dwell in synchronicity with the Spirit or else you will always be found in the wrong places and at the wrong time by the Spirit.

For people without purpose, anytime is right for them. They do all things when they feel the need and desire to. They walk by sight. That is not the way of the child of God who has been assigned. The children of God are led by the Spirit.

So then, since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.

Hallelujah!
