Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant. (Jeremiah.1.9-10 KJV)
Sometimes children of God look so small in the presence governments and Kingdoms. Yet what God reached out His hand to put into Jeremiah's mouth now dwells in their hearts.
What greater weapon has God given us than His word? Is it in the old testament alone that the prophets had power to stand before Kings? No.
In the world today, man has built culture, kingdoms and systems based on error. The word of God is true and is Truth. So here in is the great battle between Truth and error. But God has given us the power.
2Corinthians.10.4-5 The tools of our trade aren't for marketing or manipulation, but they are for demolishing that entire massively corrupt culture. We use our powerful God-tools for smashing warped philosophies, tearing down barriers erected against the truth of God, fitting every loose thought and emotion and impulse into the structure of life shaped by Christ. (MSB)
With the word of God, we have the power and authority to destroy anything that is not in accordance with the design of God. So we root out, pull down, destroy, and throw down what is based on human knowledge and design.
Yet don't forget that the very word has the power to build and plant. This too, God has appointed us to do because we have the design of what conforms to His will.
It therefore calls for wisdom to know what to uproot and pull down and what to plant and build.
We can shape our institutions, governments and systems according into truth. It take the children of God to rise and take up the weapons of their warfare.
Hallelujah!
