I give thanks to Him Who has granted me [the needed] strength and made me able [for this], Christ Jesus our Lord, because He has judged and counted me faithful and trustworthy, appointing me to [this stewardship of] the ministry. (1Timothy.1.12 AMP)
I believe at one point there is what you invested your whole and all to build. Let's say a business or ministry. Maybe a relationship or partnership. Now tell me the weight you carry and the courage it takes to hand to another person.
Christ has handed what He suffered for –even to death to us who actually did nothing in it. Everyone whom God has entrusted with His ministry of reconciliation should feel the weight of playing with what another person put their life to build.
Many saints died for the sake of the gospel yet today there are people taking these mandates for fun or as a way to gain fame and glory.
One thing you should know is that God judged and counted you faithful and trustworthy, then appointed you to the stewardship of the ministry. Unless you are just trying to do what you were not called to.
Never play with the boldness you have to stand and preach the Gospel in any way because it is God who gives the strength. Don't take the ministry for granted.
I am talking to the minister who does what he wants because he has the power as a minister. Those who are taking advantage of the positions they have in the ministry and are messing up the ministry.
You will be accountable for everything thing you do or not do. If you know that you have truly been called by God as a steward, the wake up from your sleep. Stop living such a reckless life and assume you're position.
Selah!
Then there is a brother or sister who is doubting whether they are really worthy to be stewards. God knew how weak and easily moved you can be. So God Himself gives the strength for you to carry on the mandate. Don't doubt.
Hallelujah!
