DOES GOD EVEN CARE —WHERE IS HE?

He said, "Look! I see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and unharmed, and the fourth looks like a son of the gods." (Daniel.3.25 NIV)

"Is God really seeing me suffer and does He even care?" "Where is God to save me?" These are some of the devastating questions a person can ask concerning God almighty. If asked to respond to the questions I would say God truly and passionately cares and He's right with you in the situation you are in.

In some cases the world is quick to realize the presence of God in our situations than we ourselves are able to. God is always right beside you whether in the fire, water or darkness.

All along King Nebuchadnezzar had also not known that Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego had a God walking with them until he threw them into the fire.

Seems the power that brought the children of Israel out of Egypt was not enough to show them that God was with them until the were pressed between the Egyptians and the sea. But then the power that parted and held the water while they crossed startled them [Exodus 14].

Were His discipline even grateful that sleeping Jesus was with them in the same boat before the storm? [Luke 8.23-25]

Many people don't always appreciate the presence of God in their lives until they are somewhat hard-pressed by challenges.

Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. (James.1.2-3 MSB)

Now to you who is still doubting God in your situation and is about or is asking the question of His care, check this out;

Isaiah.43.2-4 When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. I gave Egypt, Ethiopia, and Seba as a ransom for your freedom. Others died that you might live. I traded their lives for yours because you are precious to me. You are honored, and I love you. (NLT)

God is with you in that situation. Trust in Him! Remains focused. Doubt was the problem with the disciples in the boat. Infact they had not even known the man with them in the boat until the storm came up.

Luke.8.25 And He said to them, [Why are you so fearful?] Where is your faith (your trust, your confidence in Me - in My veracity and My integrity)? And they were seized with alarm and profound and reverent dread, and they marveled, saying to one another, Who then is this, that He commands even wind and sea, and they obey Him? (AMP)

Every storm that comes to you doesn't intend to kill you but to open your eyes to who God is and to lift you to another level in Him. God knows your weakness and can not let you be tested beyond that which you can hold. No wonder He led the Israelites in the way toward the red sea and not through the Philistine land though it was shorter.

For God said, "If they face war, they might change their minds and return to Egypt." God even cares that you don't face what can change your confession. God denied them war even when we are told they left Egypt armed for war. To God, your preparation is not what is important, it matters that He shows Himself strong on your behalf in every challenge [2Chronicles 6].

Hallelujah!
