INVITE GOD TO YOUR RESCUE

The minute I said, "I'm slipping, I'm falling," your love, GOD, took hold and held me fast. (Psalm.94.18 MSB)

It takes a level of humility to realize that you are in some way slipping off from the way of truth. A proud heart however gets no difference. But always remember that it is to the humble that God gives more grace. [James 4.6].

What does a humble heart do when it senses a slip? It calls out to the Lord. That is how the Psalmist's heart cried out. And here in scripture he testifies; "The minute I said, "I'm slipping, I'm falling," your love, GOD, took hold and held me fast."

God's love and mercy is readily available for anybody who cries out to Him for help. He is not a God who first allows you to be mocked or lets you cry for long. His action is immediate. He is never late. He might seem late in your own judgement but that's not true by heaven. His plans for you are always perfect.

Romans.10.13 For "whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved." (NKJV)

The word used for 'call' here means to invoke; to invite; to appeal. So anybody who invokes the mercy and love of God will be saved –held up by them lest he slip off the right road.

Learn to invite the Lord to your rescue everytime you feel you are slipping off.

Hallelujah!
