Christ Jesus has already done it all. God called us to be witnesses to His good works in Jesus. [Luke 24.48]. Since everything was done and we have been called to be witnesses, what more is left for us to do?
The whole heaven rejoiced because the accuser had been thrown out and we are given the account for which he was defeated: they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony.
The blood of Jesus Christ washed and made us of pure seed. But there are things that come to attack us on our earthly journey. The question is how do we bring the finished work of God into reality and practice to go through these?
The answer is simple and plain; the word of the testimony. What does this mean? Let's say you are sick. What is your testimony to that sickness? "He used his servant body to carry our sins to the Cross so we could be rid of sin, free to live the right way. His wounds became my healing." [1Peter.2.24 MSB]
What if you are surrounded by hatred? This is the testimony; "I'll call nobodies and make them somebodies; I'll call the unloved and make them beloved." [Rom.9.25]
When you reach the point of death, what is your testimony? "If anyone keeps the word of God, he will never see death." [John.8.51]
It's by the confession of the finished work of Christ that we are saved. Declaring what God has already done for us brings the word into reality. This is how to win always.
