HOW TO KNOW WHAT IS YOURS

After the death of Joshua, the Israelites asked the LORD, "Who will be the first to go up and fight for us against the Canaanites?" The LORD answered, "Judah is to go; I have given the land into their hands." (Judges.1.1 -2 NIV)

All people desire to keep winning. But do all people have the knowledge of what has been given to them? I keep asking myself, why do some people realize who really they are and what has been given to them at the last hours? Yet they have spent years pushing for what they are not.

Then I learnt something by scripture: there is a wisdom in knowing who you are and what has been given to you. Oh how dangerous it is to walk and work by try and error. Our theme scripture is giving us one of the many examples of what kept the Children of Israel winning in every battle.

After the death of Joshua, the Israelites asked the LORD, "Who will be the first to go up and fight for us against the Canaanites?" The beauty of asking God is that He does not only respond, He explains. God gives the outcome and even how to achieve the victory.

God taught how Jericho would be brought down, God gave David the wisdom on how to defeat giant Goliath. What are you facing in your life and are not sure of the outcome? What has God said about that situation? What picture do you have of the end of all things? There are people who are not sure of their end but just have a picture of them defeated.

If you have not know by scripture at least ask God to open your eyes.

2Kings.6.17 Then Elisha prayed, Lord, I pray You, open his eyes that he may see. And the Lord opened the young man 's eyes, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha. (AMP)

Elisha was sure that the enemies had been delivered into his hands, but it was not so for his servant that's why he trembled with fear. Then for David, there is one thing I have learnt about Him. He asked God about everything. Never did he go out on his own.

Trust GOD from the bottom of your heart; don't try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for GOD's voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he's the one who will keep you on track. Don't assume that you know it all. Run to GOD! Run from evil! (Proverbs.3.5 - 7 MSB)

Hallelujah!
