HOW TO BECOME WISE

Listen to advice and accept instruction, and in the end you will be wise. (Proverbs.19.20 NIV)

The deception that led to sin entering the world was a promise made by the devil to Eve: "For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." This was a promise to receive knowledge and wisdom.

Many time we are mislead to think that there is another way to become wise like Adam and Eve, who didn't know that there obedience to God's instruction was the one and only way to become wise.

This is also reflected in our education systems. No matter how correct your answer to for the question but if it is not inline with the instructions in the paper, you miss the mark. Yet someone who somewhat didn't know the accurate answer but followed the instructions gets better grades.

It's not about knowing, it's about obeying. "Listen to advice and accept instruction, and in the end you will be wise." Knowledge is helpful in filling what has been built and established.

Prov.24.3 -4 By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures.

In everything you do, firstly seek wisdom. It is what builds. Don't be deceived to think that acquiring knowledge first makes you wise. Obey and you will be wise.

Hallelujah!
