Does God look at certain credentials to help a man? Absolutely no. Child of God, there are no levels that you are mandated to go through for God to come to your rescue.
When Jesus Christ died on that cross, His sacrifice was not to redeem only a few people or a certain caliber but to redeem the whole world. God knew that for as along as the earth remains, man will pant for the hand of his Creator. Always bear in mind that by the time you call onto Him, He has already called you.
Joel.2.32 And everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as the LORD has said, among the survivors whom the LORD calls. (NIV)
Don't be deceived that God receives only the perfect to Himself, He calls the imperfect to perfection which is in Him. He calls all who are heavy laden to him. Stop approaching the throne of mercy with judgement in your heart, but with boldness because God delights in men who are without pride and have given up their own strength that they may receive His.
No matter how fallen you may think you are, no matter how dark the path you have taken may seem. But most assuredly, when you call on God, He is available - for He is the present help in time of need. Nothing can resist or hinder the intervention of God in your situation.
Ps.139.12 Even the darkness hides nothing from You, but the night shines as the day; the darkness and the light are both alike to You. (AMP)
When you need a hand to hold you up, look no further, Just call on the name of the Lord.
