Galatians.1.3-4 Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: (KJV)
Was it not know to God that the present world and the generations to come would be corrupt and wicked, one worse than that before?
God knows the end from the beginning, yet in the same world he put those He has chosen for Himself. I always hear people praying to God not to tarry claiming that if He does all people will perish.
Friends, God already gave us a way to remain preserved even in the most corrupted world. It is God's will to keep us free from the evil world though we are in it.
The way is Jesus Christ. This Jesus Christ gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father.
When you come to Jesus Christ, you are torn away from the world but remain living in the world. The world no longer has connection with you.
John.15.19 If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. (NIV)
If we didn't have the ability given by God to live in the corrupted world, then God would not permit us to stay in it. People who receive Him would be taken to heaven straight away.
His sacrifice and prayer [John.17.15-16 My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of it.] for the body(church) is sufficient to preserve whoever believes in Him.
Those who receive Him can't be corrupted having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever, [1Peter.1.23].
So when the theme scripture starts by saying Grace and peace to you, don't think about the president state of the world and be troubled that you too will soon be corrupted.
You have the word of Christ. The Gospel of Christ, which is God 's power working unto salvation [for deliverance from eternal death] to everyone who believes with a personal trust and a confident surrender and firm reliance.
Hallelujah!
