When the angel of the LORD appeared to Gideon, he said, "The LORD is with you, mighty warrior." (Judges.6.12 NIV)
In the sight of everyone including himself, Gideon didn't look like a mighty warrior. Not just that, even their clan had no history of greatness and among them he was the least.
Man is naturally bent to quick recognition of weakness than strength because of the spirit of comparison.
Nobody has ever become great by looking at their weakness. Looking at weakness weighs so heavy on the human spirit and does not all progress.
God, in his Love never at anytime points at our weaknesses. Even when He know that flesh is weak, yet in it has He put His spirit.
2Timothy.1.7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. (NLT)
Even before Gideon did anything in strength, God called Him a mighty warrior. Before you manifest His strength in you, God knows you as strong.
You may have no history of greatness in your lineage, but God points to your expansion. You can never be them, and they will never be you. If they ended in weakness, you will are different.
See from God's perspective of who you really are, then obey and trust in Him.
