HOW TO SEE CHRIST

Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, "Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?" (John.14.22 NKJV)

It is plain that the world didn't see Jesus after the resurrection in the way they used to see Him teach in the synagogues. Infact even His very own disciples who didn't believe struggled to take it in that He had risen. If Christ had shown Himself then Paul and other apostles would have not invested in emphasizing that Christ rose from the dead.

The Gospel according to John actually gives us the reason the world can not see Him even when is alive now.

He came into the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize Him [did not know Him]. He came to that which belonged to Him [to His own - His domain, creation, things, world], and they who were His own did not receive Him and did not welcome Him. But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name - (John.1.10-12 AMP)

I always hear men say "I am seeking God," "I want to see God." The one and only way to see God is by believing in His name. In Christ we see the father.

Our Lord and savior is ready to show Himself to everyone who believes and has faith in Him. Never expect to see the fullness of God with a heart that struggles to believe in Him.

That is why the Gospel is veiled to those who are perishing. Who are those perishing? They that have not received the Son of God.

Hallelujah!
