Many times we want to pile blame and enforce change on people who seem lost. We expect them to love yet they rob, we expect them to behave uprightly.
Unfortunately some of these people actually are with us in our places of worship and are members with us. But what really is wrong with them?
Zacchaeus was a man open to the truth but had not received the truth. The entrance of Jesus Christ into his house changed everything about him.
Blame and forced change is not the solution for the lost. Christ is the solution. Many people are on the way of truth but have not received the truth into their hearts.
The only help for such brethren is helping them create a place for Jesus Christ in their hearts. No man can love without having the revelation of God's love. No man has the power to get free from sin on their own. It's only by the work of Jesus Christ that man can change.
Help someone to get a place for God instead of blaming them. This is the very reason God told us to bless our enemies and forgive those who offend us. It's the mandate of those who have received the truth to help others also share in it.
